Paul Samulenas recently passed away. He was married to his wife Barbara for 66 years and served as the President of The Society of Flavor Chemists, Inc. from 1971-1972.
Paul received a Bachelor’s degree from Iona University and a Master’s from St. John’s University.
He worked at Fritzsche, Dodge& Olcott, Inc., S. Twitchell & Bros. Manufacturing, the Frostie Beverage Company and Flavorchem Corporation. His career started in R&D, then moved into sales and management positions.
Paul was a very eloquent man who could hold a conversation with Lab personnel, Production workers or Executives.
